The minimum deposit to open the account is LKR 500.
What is the maximum tiered-rewards slab available under the DFCC Junior scheme?
The maximum slab is Rs. 5,000,000. Balances over that will enjoy additional interest rate.
What rewards are available for milestone events?
Cash rewards are provided for Grade 5 scholarships, G.C.E O/L examinations, and 18th birthdays.
What are the eligibility criteria for Grade 5 Scholarship and G.C.E O/L rewards?
- Grade 5 Scholarship: 150 marks minimum and a continuous balance of LKR 20,000 for 12 months prior to the exam.
- G.C.E O/L: 8 As or more and a continuous balance of LKR 20,000 for 12 months prior to the exam.
- Must be claimed within 3 months.
What are the eligibility criteria for the 18th Birthday reward?
The account must maintain a minimum balance of LKR 20,000 for 36 continuous months and must be claimed within 3 months of the 18th birthday.
